To properly set-up and consistently maintain machines to ensure that they operate in a safe an efficient manner. Install Injection molds, process product according to drawings.


Major Responsibilities

Set up injection molding machine and assembly machine
Observe continuous operation of injection molding machines to ensure that parts meet specifications and to detect any machine malfunctions or product defects, making adjustments as necessary
Perform maintenance of molding machine and auxiliary equipment
Troubleshoot issues and resolves problems with injection molding machine,
Observe continuous operation of injection molding machines to ensure that parts meet specifications and to detect any machine malfunctions or product defects, making adjustments as necessary.
Mold installation and start-up, shut-down and removal.
Ensure all auxiliary equipment is set to the correct settings per the baselines.
Maintain best operating parameters (baselines) for tool and make any adjustments required to cycle the tool automatically.
Troubleshooting and understanding the machine functions/setting issues..
Optimize process to reduce scrap and improve throughput.

Knowledge and Education


At least 5 years experience in plastic manufacturing
Strong knowledge and Troubleshoot issues and resolves problems with injection molding machine
Mold installation and start-up, shut-down and removal.
Experience in injection molding, processing and tooling
Advanced knowledge of plastic injection molding manufacturing business
3+ years of process tech experience
Injection Mold Tool Setting Experience.
Knowledge of plastic materials and process parameters for injection molding.
