Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across yard locations serving the construction industry. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations involving material handling, equipment use, and customer service. The Operations Manager leads and supports equipment operators, scale attendants, and yard personnel while coordinating closely with sales, dispatch, and logistics to meet customer and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Yard Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of yard facilities supplying materials to the construction industry
Ensure efficient material flow, loading/unloading, weighing, and dispatch processes
Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational performance across yards
Coordinate equipment availability and yard readiness to meet customer and project demands


People Leadership & Supervision

Lead, coach, and support equipment operators, scale attendants, and yard staff
Ensure adequate staffing levels and support scheduling as required


Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Ontario health and safety legislation, including OHSA requirements
Promote and enforce safe work practices, policies, and procedures


Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with sales, dispatch, and logistics teams to support customer needs
Address operational issues impacting customer service and delivery timelines
Act as a point of escalation for yard-related concerns


Equipment & Asset Oversight

Monitor equipment utilization and report issues or improvement opportunities


Continuous Improvement & Reporting

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and service quality
Assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures
Support company initiatives related to growth, compliance, and operational excellence

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of operations or yard management experience in construction, aggregates, materials supply, or a related industry
Proven experience supervising front-line operational staff
Strong understanding of construction materials, yard operations, or logistics environments
Working knowledge of Ontario health and safety regulations
Experience managing heavy equipment operations is an asset
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency with operational systems, reporting tools, and basic computer applications

Working Conditions

Senior Project Manager – Capital(CAPEX) & Manufacturing Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex capital expenditure (CapEx) projects across both greenfield and or brownfield environments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between structural execution and industrial efficiency, leveraging a strong background in Manufacturing Engineering and a proven track record of managing large-scale industrial construction projects from conception to commissioning.

As a PMP-certified professional, you will implement rigorous project management methodologies to ensure facilities are built, expanded, and optimized safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external contractors, and executive leadership to transform raw sites (greenfield) and integrate advanced manufacturing lines into existing operational footprints (brownfield).

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Construction Management

• End-to-End Execution: Lead the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of multi-million dollar greenfield (new facility construction) and brownfield (expansions, retrofits, and line modifications) projects.

• Brownfield Integration: Manage a complex brownfield projects on renovating on land that has been previously developed, utilized for industrial or commercial purposes.

• Greenfield Development: Oversee greenfield projects from site preparation, civil works, and structural erection through to facility dry-run and final handover.

• Contractor & Vendor Management: Lead the selection, onboarding, and management of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firms, general contractors, and specialized equipment vendors.

Manufacturing & Process Engineering

• Operational Readiness: Ensure a seamless transition from the construction phase to steady-state manufacturing operations, providing technical documentation and training frameworks to the production teams.

• Equipment & Line Design: Collaborate with automation, tooling, and process engineers to design and layout advanced manufacturing lines.

• Commissioning & Qualification: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new manufacturing equipment,

Project Governance (PMP Methodologies)

• Scope & Risk Management: Establish comprehensive project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), and rigorous change-control processes. Conduct proactive risk assessments to mitigate supply chain, labor, and regulatory bottlenecks.

• Financial Accountability: Develop detailed cost estimates, track CapEx cash flows, manage contingency funds, and provide regular financial forecasts to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience within an EPC, Construction, industrial, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Proven Track Record: Direct experience managing both greenfield construction (building from the ground up) and/or brownfield construction (retrofitting/expanding active facilities).
• Engineering Background: Strong foundational experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer, knowledge of plant layouts, equipment installation, and industrial utilities (compressed air, power distribution, HVAC).

Competencies
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills when managing diverse contractor teams and internal stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of construction safety protocols (OSHA/local regulations) and building codes.
• Proficiency with project management software, ERP systems, and CAD software (for reviewing layouts).

Maintenance Manager is responsible overseeing, supervising and managing the maintenance group, repairs, installation and improvement metal stamping machines, robots, welding and standard to complex machinery and plant support equipment. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for implementing and managing preventative/predictive maintenance programs and assisting plant operations with engineering solutions, commissioning, and product launches.



Principal Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain documentation for all preventive and predictive maintenance

· Management of all maintenance plant. Develop and manage departmental staffing and budget plans.

· Development of strategic improvement plans for the facility, equipment and supporting functions (logistics, safety, environmental, etc.)

· Develop, implement and manage a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program.

· Establish priorities for the maintenance department and works closely with the Plant Manager and HR team to ensure the effective utilization of available resources;

· Initiate facility-related capital requisitions and coordinate capital spending to meet current and future production requirements.

· Select bids, monitor and manage progress and costs of suppliers and contractors for facility grounds and equipment projects, coordinating activities with responsible user departments.

· Develop and provide cross training for all maintenance personnel in regards to the various aspects of the maintenance department.

· Responsible for the execution, and improvement and compliance of preventive maintenance programs.

· Ensure repair work is documented and performed in accordance with schedules



Requirements

· Associates Degree or equal work experience preferred

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance Manager role

· Experience in an Stamping operations, Welding, Robotics and maintenance and repair spectrum, as well as a strong level of adeptness of mechanical, electrical PLCs, pneumatics and hydraulic elements of manufacturing equipment;

· Strong background and hands-on experience with maintenance of machines

· Management experience in maintenance, including managing teams of people;

· Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

Our client is looking to hire for a Materials Analyst with understanding of complex supply chains and inventory control systems.

This role reports to Inmet’s Materials Manager.



They are responsible for supporting production scheduling – press shop and assembly - optimizing supply chains, managing inventories; identifying ways to reduce costs while providing support to ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery requirements that exceed customer expectations.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



· Coordinates and schedules on time production following established procedures

· Analyze and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and Inmet’s business needs

· Min/max inventory level review and provide suggestions for adjustment to align with company inventory level goals

· Excess and obsolete inventory analysis and suggested inventory usage strategy to minimize scrap inventory

· Conduct regular audits of material inventories to report on stock levels and discrepancies

· Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials

· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to material management

· Collaborate with various departments, including production and finance, to align material needs with organizational goals

· Utilize software systems to track and manage material data effectively

· Identify and implement MRP process improvements

· Prepare detailed reports and analysis for senior management to aid in decision-making

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to material procurement and usage

· Participating in team problem solving activities and process improvement activities

· Prepare Physical inventory readiness (basement storage clean up against reserve item list)

· Works in a safe manner and always observe plant safety rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:



· At least 3 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing Supply Chain Management

· Any and all licenses and training relating to the following:

o Lean Manufacturing, APICS, CPIM, & USMCA

· Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems

o SAP experience is important in this role

· Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets related to materials properties and performance.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

· Proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of office software

o Proven use of Microsoft Excel

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
